Overview
Once an Admin user has enabled the Salesforce integration for your Walnut account, you can connect your published demo to a Salesforce opportunity or HubSpot deal. Connecting a demo to an opportunity or deal allows you to:
- Track Walnut Data in Salesforce:
View demos data & engagement per deal to get a full picture of your deal's progress. - Place Demos in the Right Stage:
Match your Walnut demos to your customer lifecycles, and direct sellers when to use each demo. -
Organize Your Demo Library:
Locate your demo in your Walnut Demo Library by using your CRM data.

Instructions
There are two ways to connect your demos, either during demo creation or after a demo has been created.
During demo creation:
- On the second step of the Demo Creation wizard called 'Deal Details', select the CRM to which you want to connect your demo.
- Search the name of the opportunity or deal to which you want to connect your demo. Selecting a result will load the opportunity/deal name, owner, and stage.
- Then, click 'Next' or 'Create Demo' to continue.
After demo creation:
- On the homepage or demos page, click on the demo thumbnail.
- A right side panel should appear, click Link Opportunity.
- In the modal, select the CRM to which you want to connect your demo.
- Search the name of the opportunity or deal to which you want to connect your demo. Selecting a result will load the opportunity/deal name, owner, and stage.
- Then click 'Link' to continue.

How can I unlink a demo from an opportunity or deal?
Glad you asked! To disconnect an opportunity, click the broken link icon that displays next to the opportunity name in the right side-panel, when you click on a demo thumbnail.
