October 2026

October opens with AI Mode taking on more of the work you used to do by hand in the editor, including the same change across every screen in a single request. The Walnut MCP now works in ChatGPT and Codex as well as Claude, and every presenter note in a demo can be exported as one document.

Here's what we shipped this month ๐Ÿ‘‡โ€‹

  • AI Mode: the edits you used to make by hand, now one request away
  • The Walnut MCP in Claude, ChatGPT and Codex
  • Export presenter notes: every note in a demo, in one document

AI Mode: The Edits You Used to Make by Hand, Now One Request Awayโ€‹

Some changes still meant leaving AI Mode for the editor, and asking for the same change on every screen often stopped partway through.

Now AI Mode handles more of that work, including one change across every screen in a single request.

Make the same change on every screenโ€‹

What you can do:

  • Copy an element (a button, back link, banner or nav item) to every screen that needs it, with its edits and links
  • Move an element from one screen to another
  • Apply an edit you made on one screen to the same element on other screens
  • Remove a link from every screen at once
  • Undo the whole change in one step

Style anything by askingโ€‹

What you can do:

  • Add borders, outlines and shadows
  • Round corners and rotate elements
  • Change text alignment and capitalization
  • Remove automatic list numbering

Set up guides from the chatโ€‹

What you can do:

  • Rename a guide
  • Turn spotlight on or off for a guide step
  • Change the tooltip colors for every guide in the template
  • Lay out a step's buttons horizontally or vertically
  • Write or replace a screen's presenter notes
  • Duplicate the template you're working in
  • Find an earlier version of your demo and open it in Version History, ready to restore

The result:

Fewer trips out of AI Mode, and big repetitive edits done in one request instead of one screen at a time.

The Walnut MCP: Work With Walnut From Claude, ChatGPT or Codexโ€‹

The Walnut MCP launched in September with Claude. It now connects to ChatGPT and Codex too, so your team can use it from whichever assistant they already have open. Setup takes about a minute in any of them.

What you can do:

  • Ask about demo sessions, completions and top performers
  • Check users, seats and activity
  • Search, tag, rename, move or archive library items in bulk, with a preview first
  • Invite, update and offboard members (Account owners and Company admins)
  • Connect with Full access or Read-only, always within your own Walnut permissions

The result:

The questions and cleanups you used to click through happen in a sentence, in the assistant you already have open.

Export Presenter Notes: Every Note in a Demo, in One Documentโ€‹

Preparing for a call meant clicking through a demo screen by screen to read your notes.

Now you can download all of a demo's presenter notes as one PDF or Word file.

What you can do:

  • Export from the demo's โ‹ฏ menu, or from the presenter notes panel in the editor
  • Choose PDF (print-ready) or Word (.docx)
  • Follow along easily: notes are grouped by section and numbered to match the editor
  • Skip the clutter: screens without notes are left out

The result:

Review, share or print your talking points before the call, in one place.
