Resource Hub
Resource Hub
The Resource Hub is a centralized library where your team can store, organize, and reuse approved media files across demos, templates, and users. Instead of uploading the same assets repeatedly, everything lives in one place — accessible to your entire company, always up to date.

Quick Start Guide
1. Open the Resource Hub
Click Resource Hub in the main navigation. The left sidebar shows your full folder hierarchy.
2. Upload files
Click Upload File in the top bar. Select one or more files from your computer — you can upload multiple files at once. Files appear in the library as soon as the upload completes.
3. Add files from OneDrive
Instead of downloading a file and re-uploading it, you can pull it straight from OneDrive.
Click Add from OneDrive in the top bar. The first time, you'll be asked to Connect OneDrive and sign in to your Microsoft account. Only your own OneDrive files are ever reachable — connecting does not expose your organization's wider SharePoint or OneDrive content to Walnut.
Once connected, use Search your OneDrive to find a file and add it. It appears in the Resource Hub tagged Added from OneDrive.
Files added this way stay linked. Walnut re-checks the original roughly every 15 minutes, so when someone updates the source file in OneDrive, the version in your Resource Hub follows — and so does every demo and Deal Room using it.
To stop syncing a file, remove it from the Resource Hub. To disconnect the account entirely, use the disconnect option in the OneDrive panel.
4. Organize with folders
Click New Folder to create a folder. Give it a name and pick a color, then click Create.
To move a file into a folder, hover over it, click the three-dot menu, and select Move to Folder.
To navigate into a folder, double-click it. Use the back arrow in the top-left to go back up.
5. Switch views
Use the toggle in the top-right corner to switch between:
- Grid view — visual thumbnail cards, great for image-heavy libraries
- List view — table layout showing file name, upload date, and last updated, ideal for large libraries
6. Search, filter, and sort
Use the search bar to find files by name. Use the Filters and Sort controls to narrow results by file type or sort by date.
7. Use bulk actions
Hover over any file to reveal its checkbox and select it. Select multiple files, and a floating action bar will appear at the bottom of the screen showing the number of selected items and the following actions:
- Move to — move selected files to a folder
- Archive — remove selected files from the library
Use Select all in the action bar to select everything on the current page, or Deselect all to clear your selection.
Saved sections
Alongside media files, the Resource Hub holds your company's Saved sections — reusable Deal Room sections saved from any room, with the section type, who saved it, the room it came from, and how many Deal Rooms currently use it. See Reuse Deal Room sections with the Section Library.
FAQs
Can anyone on my team upload files to the Resource Hub?
Any team member with an Editor role or above can upload files. Folder creation and library management require a Creator or Admin role.
Can I upload multiple files at once?
Yes. When you click Upload File, you can select multiple files from your computer in a single pick — they'll all be uploaded together.
Does connecting OneDrive give Walnut access to my whole organization's files?
No. Walnut reaches only the files in the Microsoft account you connect, and only the ones you explicitly add.
How quickly does a OneDrive file update in Walnut?
Walnut re-checks linked files about every 15 minutes, so an update in OneDrive shows up shortly afterwards wherever the file is used.
What happens if I delete or move the file in OneDrive?
The link can no longer resolve and the file stops updating in Walnut. Re-add it from its new location.
I don't see the Add from OneDrive option.
OneDrive needs to be enabled for your workspace. If you see "OneDrive isn't available in this environment yet", contact Walnut support.
What happens when I archive a file?
Archived files are removed from the Resource Hub and will no longer be accessible in the library. Make sure the file isn't actively used in demos before archiving.
Can I move a file out of a folder back to the root level?
Yes. Hover over the file, open the three-dot menu, and select Remove Folder. The file will move back to the root of the library.
Can I rename a file after uploading?
Yes. Hover over the file, open the three-dot menu, and select Rename.
