Sync Demo Data to HubSpot Deals

About

Automatically detect when demo sessions are related to a deal and send Walnut activity to the matched object such as deal, contact, or company. This can be controlled by a toggle located within HubSpot Configuration.

Before you start

Make sure to re-authenticate the app to ensure it's the most up-to-date.

How it works

  1. Go to Integrations
  2. Click on Hubspot
  3. Navigate to ‘Configure’ tab
  4. Enable the ‘Sync Demos to Deals’ toggle

Once you turn on the Hubspot Integration, the new toggle "Sync Demos to Deals" will be displayed.

When enabled, we'll match each identified demo session with a corresponding deal, contact, or company and link the activity.

In case we will find a match, a new activity will be created in the relevant object. Here's what it looks like:

Important to note

What happens to deals and demos when the automatic sync feature is turned off? Can you still manually connect demos to deals?

When turned off, only deals manually connected to a demo are updated. You can still connect manually demos to deals and have the automatic sync turned on.
