In this article we explain user and group member analytics.
User analytics
When you want to understand how a specific person uses templates and demos, one click on the User Analytics icon, will provide a wealth of data. There are separate analytics for templates and demos, each in their own tab.
- User analytics for templates
> To access user analytics for templates:
- Navigate to Company Settings>Users.
- Select click the User Analytics icon next to the user.
- The analytics screen opens with two tabs: Templates and Demos.
- User details (#1)
- Summary stats (#2) for templates, demos, average view time, count of demos played.
- Walnut AI button (#3) to generate data based on your own text input.
- Template / demo details (#4): name, role, date created, last updated.
- Download / export to .CSV (#5) button.
For more detail, click a specific row.
- User analytics for demos
> To access user analytics for demos:
- Navigate to Company Settings>Users.
- Click the User Analytics icon next to the user.
- The analytics screen opens with two tabs: Templates and Demos.
- Open the Demos tab.
- The top half is the same as for templates.
- The demo details shows the count for demos played plus the analytics icon to show more analytics.

Group member analytics
When you want to understand how a specific group or group members use templates and demos, one click on the User Analytics icon, will provide a wealth of data.
> To access analytics for group members:
- Navigate to Company Settings>Groups.
- Click Manage Group. A new screen opens.
- Walnut AI button (#1) to generate data based on your own text input.
- Summary stats (#2) for templates, demos, average view time, count of demos played.
- Add members (#3).
- Search box and Role filter (#4).
- Download / export to .CSV button (#5).
- Group member summary stats (#6): Name, role, template count, demo count, average time on demos, demos played, user analytics.
- Click the User Analytics icon next to the user.
- The analytics screen opens with two tabs: Templates and Demos.
- To understand the data shown, see the screenshots in the sections User analytics for templates and User analytics for demos.
Export user or group analytics
Admins can export user and group analytics. There's a download and export button on the respective pages. One click and you’re done!
Export user data
To export user data such as ID, name, last active date, demos and templates created, head over to the article Export user data.
