You can add code snippets to demos. The code tracks viewer interactions. The information collected shows how viewers interact with your demos, generating insights to understand and improve product engagement.

Before you start
- All roles other than viewer can add tracking pixels.
- You can add multiple tracking solutions on the same screen.
- Tracking pixels is not supported in embedded demos.
Supported tracking solutions
Walnut supports Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Marketo, Hubspot and Pardot.
Want to use another tracking solution? Open a ticket with support@walnut.io and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
Add code tracking snippets
> To add code tracking snippets to one or multiple screens:
- Open the template editor.
- Select the screen you want to track.
- Click the 3 dots (or right click) and select Custom HTML.
- Using the toggle, choose between Header / Body - depending on where you want to insert the snippet. The location of the snippet depends on your tracking solution.
- Add the relevant code snippet(s) into the HTML editor.
- Walnut checks the code and if all’s good, click Apply.
- To complete the workflow, open a ticket with support@walnut.io and provide the relevant documentation. Be sure to include the snippet and our team will whitelist the path in the code.
Repeat the steps for each screen you want to track.
