About
Walnut’s Offline Demos feature gives the option to download a demo so that you can access it whenever you want without being dependent on an internet connection. It’s a paid feature, so reach out to your CSM or to support for details.
Before you start
- Roles and permissions: Anyone with the extension downloaded and installed and with a Walnut’s presenters role and above can access offline demos. Offline demo files are not transferable.
- Browser and device settings: It’s always best to check that you’re using the latest version of your Mac or Windows browser.
- File storage: There is no file size limitation. Storage capacity is dependent on your PC and available space in the hard drive.
Offline demo Key features
- Sync demo engagement data: Demo data is stored and synced back to your Walnut accounts whenever the person that played the demo offline reconnects back to the internet.
- Access the demo when offline: Save the demo link in a document, or preferably as a bookmark in your Chrome browser.
- Update demos: Offline demos are disconnected from the internet. To update an offline demo, re-download the demo.
- Remove offline demos: To delete and remove from local storage, clear the browser's "site data". This removes the offline demo files.
TIP: Wait until your online demo is fully baked out and completed before downloading to use in offline mode.
