About

Walnut’s Playlists offers a space for a curated collection of demos, content assets, and links to share. These can be viewed either in playlist form or as a ״choose your own adventure״ experience. 

You can share a Playlist with your prospects and/or customers with a link and empower them to consume concise content in the order of their choice.

Before getting started

• Roles: each user with the “presenter” role and above can create Demo Playlists. 
• Analytics: each demo within the Demo Playlist will be reflected in Walnut analytics, including demo insights, deals, CRM demo data objects. 

How it works

1. Create a new Playlist from the Walnut demo library.
2. Select the demos that you would like to add to the Playlist. You can edit the name and description of each demo without affecting the original demo content.
3. Select the content assets that you would like to include in the Playlist, either by uploading media files or pasting URLs. You can edit the name and description of each asset.
4. You can drag and drop your demos and content assets to control the order of their appearance.
5. Adjust your settings. Give your Playlist a name, description, and button label. Define whether users have the option to select the Playlist items of their choice or not. Set up your brand colors or use the company branding kit.
6. Need to duplicate a Playlist? Simply click on the 3 dot menu and select Duplicate.

That's it! Now you can view the Playlist and get the link o share it externally.

To upload media:

1. Click on the 'Upload media file'
2. Select the file you wish to add to playlist from your local library
3. Save

To embed a media file:

1. Copy the link of the media file you wish to embed 
2. Paste the link in the search bar 
3. Save

Important to note  📝

• Versions: if the individual demos included are updated, the Demo Playlist will serve the updated version only, as this is linked to the origin.
• You can add Playlists into folders, add tags, and define collaborators access

FAQs

• Can I embed a Demo Playlist?
  • Yes, you can embed a Demo Playlist on any website or an internal knowledge center as you embed demos. Get the embed code from the Demos Playlist section, by clicking on the 3 dots menu.
  • If you’d like to use lead forms, you can do it by the embedded lead forms on a demo, depending on when you’d like to appear.
• Can I gate the Demo Playlist?
  • You can gate the Demo Playlist by gating the first demo in the Demo Playlist.
• Can I edit Demo Playlists?
  • Demo Playlists can be updated (add more/ change colors or other settings/ remove content). The demos themselves will serve the most updated version.
• What type of media files i can add?

  • Videos - MOV, MP4

  • Documents - PDFs, Google Drive docs (documents, spreadsheets, presentations)

  • Youtube and Vimeo video links
