Transform the text in your guides to an audio recording without having to upload a pre-recorded audio file. This feature helps bring your demo to life by enabling it to function like a video when needed.
Using Text to Speech
Begin by creating your demo guides and add the content you'd like the recording to play. Then select the speech bubble icon within the edit menu.
Note: Using this feature to convert text to speech requires the use of AI. To proceed, be sure to accept the terms and conditions. This message will not re-occur once accepted.
Click to begin the text conversion. You can use the dropdown to select a different narrator.
Once generated, the recording will display within your guide!
To delete the audio in your guide, simply hover over the player and hit the trash icon in the left corner.
Important to Note 📝
- There is no limit to the amount of recordings you can convert throughout your demo.
- To support a video-like passive experience enable autoplay all for screens and/or guides.
- Some additional functionalities to consider:
- If you add more text to the guide after adding the recording, you will need to regenerate the recording to have it included.
- If you add more text to the guide and generate a second recording, it will still include the text already displayed.
- If you add a recording but then delete the original text, the recording will remain as is. You can then add more text and generate a new recording.
