Activating what is known as the demo floating button enables the display of a clickable element with a hyperlink across all template screens. This Call to Action button allows users to stop the demo at their convenience and take the action indicated. The demo floating button can redirect users to a link or lead form.
Adding a Demo Floating Button
The demo floating button can host two items, an external link or an external lead form.
Begin by clicking the settings gear in the top right of the template editor to open the template settings. Under the Guides section, you'll see the Demo Floating Button tab.
Enable the button, add the call to action text, and the link. If you have added a lead form to the demo you will have the option to select it here. Lastly, determine where the button should be positioned on the screen.
Once saved, the button will appear on every screen in the demo.
Important to Note 📝
- Only one demo floating button can be enabled per template.
- The color of the demo floating button will match the accent color saved in the guide style settings.
- When adding a lead form, you will also have the option to enable the demo floating button, add the custom text, and determine its placement.
