This article explains the different type of users within Walnut!
Inviting new users or changing user settings can be done directly from the Company Settings page of the Walnut platform.
Account Owner
The account owner has the ability to oversee the entire account. This gives them the power to manage everything across the board from inviting new users, managing user permissions, demo access, company settings, integrations and more. The account owner can capture with the Walnut extension and made edits through the platform without any restriction.

Each account only has one account owner. By default, the first user to sign up to Walnut will becomes the account owner. Contact support@walnut.io to reassign the account owner for your company.

- Locate your account owner in the company settings page.
- Account owners can create and edit new demos freely and view all demos and templates created by anyone within the organization.
Admin
Similar to the account owner, admins can manage the account settings fully. They can add new users, manage user permissions, and most importantly see all demos and templates in the workspace. Aside from altering the account owner, admins can use the Walnut extension and platform without restriction.

- There can be multiple admins within your company's account.
- Admins can create, edit, and share new demos freely.
- To become an admin in Walnut, you must be invited to join your company's account.

Editor
Editors within Walnut can create, customize, and edit demos from start to finish. The editor role can use the Walnut extension to capture, and the platform to add guides as well as edit interactive elements. Demos created by editors can be shared with prospects through a link or embedded on a website.

- There can be multiple editors within your company's account.
- Editors can invite new teammates to be editors, access all features within the Walnut platform, and free range to create and edit new templates
- Editors cannot set up brand guidelines, create new folders, or change company settings.
- To become an editor in Walnut, you must be invited to join your company's account.
Presenter
Presenters have the ability to share curated demos to prospects. They can access sharing links directly from the Walnut platform and customize the URL settings accordingly. Presenters can perfect their pitch by adding presentation notes as well as receive email notifications anytime their demo is viewed someone views your demo - so you craft the best buying experience ever!

- There can be multiple presenters within your company's account.
- Presenters can invite new teammates to be presenters, access sharing and collaborative features within the Walnut platform
- Presenters cannot create or edit new templates or demos of their own; however, they can create a new demo link from an existing template link.
- To become a presenter, you must be invited to join your company's account.
