You must be a Walnut admin to use this feature. Learn more here.
SCIM provisioning allows you to provision and de-provision users directly from your SSO provider. Once users are provisioned, they will receive a default role of Presenter. To complete this process, you will need access to your company’s SSO portal. If you’re ready to get started setting up provisioning, follow the steps below.
Navigate to the company settings page and click on the SSO tab. Then select set up next to the SCIM provisioning option. If SCIM provisioning is not included in your contract it will be greyed out here. Contact your CSM or email@example.com for more details.
You’ll need to choose your SSO provider. We support most providers, including Okta SCIM and Azure Directory, Salesforce, Google Directory Sync, OneLogin, and more. See the full list of supported providers here.
Complete the instructions that follow and test your connection.
Walnut does not currently support Push Groups so you can skip any steps related to Push Groups.
Once SCIM is enabled, provisioned users will receive an email to join Walnut or they can go directly to https://app.teamwalnut.com/ and log in.
Important to Note 📝
- You can disable the feature by simply toggling it off. In doing so, you will no longer be able to provision and de-provision users from your SSO provider. Remove the connection entirely to disconnect from your directory provider completely.
- If you remove the connection, you will have to go through the process again to set up SCIM provisioning.
- You can still change providers after you configure a connection.
