Capture Capturing your product pages is done when you launch the extension and capture individual screens, which will create a template that will then appear on your home page. |
Template A template is like a template for your demo. You can edit one template as many times as you like to produce various individual demos. Templates are internal to your team and can be collaborated on with team members, but not shared with prospects. |
Demo The demo is the end product of a template and can be viewed by prospects to understand how your product looks and functions. You can decide the level of access each demo has, and can be shared by a link, or embedded onto a web page. |
Guides Guides are pop-ups throughout your demo that help explain a screen or an element in more detail. There are three different types of guides to choose from depending on how you want your demo to look and function. See below for the three different types: |
Modal A modal is a type of guide that sits in the center of the screen, so it is not attached to a specific element. Modals are useful for introductory or ending statements, or if you want to speak about an overall screen rather than a specific element on the screen. |
Tooltip A tooltip is a type of guide that is attached to a specific element or section on the page. It acts as a speech bubble pointing to the selected element, so you can describe it in more detail. |
Hotspot A hotspot is the only type of guide that does not include the option to add text. Its purpose is to highlight a specific element or section either by a glow, or beacon surrounding it. |
Screen Links Linking screens together in a template can help imitate your product’s navigation. Screen links are an alternative method to using guides, where the demo viewer can interact as if they’re signed into your product. |
Smart Objects Smart Objects can be applied to repetitive elements throughout a template, which then allows you to make changes to one and have them replicated on every screen where that matching element appears. |
Variables Variables can be applied to text or image elements and act as a placeholder for custom information. Similar to how macros work, you can set up a Variable and upon publishing your demo, you can input specific data depending on your intended audience. |
Insights Insights is where all the tracking information on your demos will appear. You can track demo views, completion rate, bounce rate, and more. |
Admin An Admin account type can capture screens, edit templates, create demos, and adjust company settings including adding integrations, organizing folders, and assigning or changing roles. |
Editor An Editor account type can capture screens, edit templates and create demos. They can also share templates with other team members, and/or restrict editing access accordingly. |
Presenter A Presenter account type can create demos, view templates, and add Presenter Notes to a template to be viewed when presenting the demo. Presenters can also access insights, and play demos straight from the extension. |
Viewer A Viewer account type can view templates and share demos that have been created within their company. |
