Folders allow you to organize your demo library, making it easy for teammates to find demos and templates relevant to their needs. You can define who from the organization has access to the folder and the type of access they’ll have to the demos inside the folder - all in one place.
The left side menu helps you easily navigate between content that has been shared with you or created by you.
Folders are broken down into three different views:
- All files
- My Library
- Shared Library
The all files view will showcase all the folders available to you within Walnut.
In the filter menu, you can find two options options: one to exclusively view templates and another to exclusively view demos.
By clicking on the three dots next to each folder, Walnut admins and Editors can add collaborators and therefore share only certain files.
This section contains the templates and demos that you’ve created. You can filter this view to see only see templates or demos, as well as add collaborators where needed.
Note that templates and demos created in a shared folder will not appear in the created by me tab but rather in the all files or shared with me sections.
Shared with you
This section that contains all the templates and demos that have been shared with you by others in your organization.
Important To Note 📝
- To delete a folder, click on the three dots on the right side. The items within the folder will be archived and can be restored.
- Only Walnut Admins and Editors can create and manage folder permissions. Presenters will be able to move demos they created into folders shared with them, but will not be able to create folders of their own.
- Demos and templates can be housed together within the same folder.
- If you add a private template or demo to a folder, others won’t be able to see that template or demo.
