System Requirements: Chrome

Overview

Effective April 28/2022, Walnut is only supporting the 2 most recent versions of the Chrome browser. It's important for our technology to support the most recent releases of Chrome, in order to better support you and your demos. Therefore, if you have been experiencing any issues in regards to capturing, you may want to check if your Chrome browser is up to date.

Instructions

1. Open Chrome, and select "About Google Chrome" under "Chrome" from the menu toolbar. The system will inspect your current version.
   
2. Once it is finished checking for updates, it will prompt you to Relaunch Google Chrome to access the latest version.
   
3. If you don't see the Relaunch button, you are on the latest version already. You may also have automatic updates turned on, which is always recommended to enable.

4. Once updated you should see a confirmation you have the most recent version

   

FAQs

I launched the extension, but the "Start Capturing" button is greyed out, what is causing that?

Great question, some pages cannot be captured properly if they are built solely, or the majority in JavaScript. Walnut is unable to capture JavaScript of a page at this time, and only supports capturing the HTML and CSS of a page.

If there is a specific page you are looking to capture, but the "Start Capturing" button is greyed out, contact support to discuss potential solutions.
