In order to use this feature, you must be an Editor, Admin or Account Owner in Walnut.
Learn more about each role.
By using Continuous Capture mode, your template screens will automatically capture as you flow and click through your product. This makes it easier to capture each screen as you do not need to manually click on the capture icon.
Using Continuous Capture
Open the Walnut Extension to begin creating a new template, or capture onto a new template.
When creating a new template, the extension automatically opens to Single capture. Open the drop down menu and change to Continuous capture.
The capture icon will then now have a film strip on it. Click on the icon to begin capturing.
As soon as you start capturing in this mode, a debugger will appear in the browser window. This is expected behavior, and aims to reproduce the highest capture quality as possible.
As you click through your page, the extension will capture accordingly. Click the pause button to stop the extension from capturing your screens.
Important to Note 📝
- Continuous Capture will appear greyed out if you have have multi-resolution capturing turned on as the two features cannot be used simultaneously
