Overview
Previewing a screen you just captured is a great short-cut for renaming, and sorting it within your template. All from the extension pop-in, you can capture, review, name and sort your screens so you're set up for success when you start editing. Want to get a head start on organizing your screens? Read the instructions below for a step by step guide.
Instructions
- Launch the extension on the website or product you wish to capture.
- Click on the camera icon or use the keyboard shortcut to capture. (command/control+shift+S)
- You'll notice a small thumbnail preview of the screen appear above the pop-in.
- If you click on the thumbnail, you can preview the screen in a larger format, and you'll have two options at the top and the bottom of the screen.
- On the bottom left side, you can rename the screen. By default, the screen name will be Auto-named the same as what appears in the browser tab. However you can customize it, if you wish to organize your screens accordingly.
- On the bottom right side, you have the option to move the screen into a section of your template. If you haven't made any sections yet, you can create a new one and add the screen to it, all from the extension pop-in!
- On the top right side of the thumbnail, you have the option to delete the screen or to X out of the preview which will minimize the window.
- Once you're done capturing, you can click the shortcut icon to access your template straight from the pop-in as well.
Simply click this iconand your template will appear in a new tab.
