When creating demos, you have full control over settings and preferences. You can set up different access controls on a demo by demo basis and therefore determine who can view the demo, and how long its live. You can change demo preferences over time and get an updated URL whenever needed.
Setting up demo preferences
From within your template, press
This will bring you to the Demo Customization Tool where you can enter the demo's details, including name, goal, and variables. Click save and continue to Demo Preferences.
Demo Preferences include access controls, prospect communications, and view settings.
Let's discuss what each of these preferences offer:
Access Control

Prospect communications allows you to determine if viewers can comment directly on the demo link or if you want to get notified when your demo is viewed.
With viewer settings you can ensure linked elements are highlighted throughout the demo, that your guides are shown, and that the guide toolbar remains visible.

Editing demo preferences for an existing demo
From the demo homepage, hover over the demo you'd like to share. Select Share Demo. |
A pop up will the appear with the demo preferences available to you, access controls, prospect communications, and link settings. |

You can also update the preferences from the Create demo landing page. Click on the three dots to the right of the demo you'd like to edit the preferences for. Then click on the gear.
Important to Note
- You can always disable the features by toggling them off and then saving settings.
- You can enable multiple settings within on demo.
- If a user is restricted from accessing the demo they will see a pop up message that reads, This demo is no longer available.
