We’ve released an update to the screen-capturing process that'll make your lives a lot easier.

You no longer need to add a name for each screen that you capture and you can say goodbye to that list of “Untitled Screens” in your Storylines.

How does screen auto-naming work?

  1. You capture a new screen with the Walnut extension.

  2. We take the name from the web title and automatically name the screen.

  3. You’re done!

To get started, launch the Walnut extension and start capturing!

What’s the best way to use this feature?

This new feature works best when each webpage that you capture has a unique title that explains what the page is all about.

How can I turn off screen auto-naming?

To turn this off, go to the Chrome extension settings page:

1. Launch the extension and click the 3 dots at the top right corner

2. Click "Settings"

3. Disable the toggle called “Auto naming”

How do I name the screens manually?

  1. Click in the screen name field.

  2. Type in the new name and then click the Pencil to save

Continue to capture.
