Prerequisites

  1. You should have the Walnut app installed in your Okta organization. If you don't have the app installed yet, follow the steps below:

    1. Click on Browse App Catalog in the Applications section of your Okta admin account

    2. Search for the Walnut app

    3. Add the Walnut app to your Okta organization

Supported Features

  1. SP-initiated SSO

  2. Walnut does not currently support user provisioning via Okta

Procedure

Once you have the Walnut app installed, your Okta admin needs to get some information and send it to the Walnut integration team at [email protected]:

  1. On the Okta Admin page, select the Walnut app and navigate to the Sign-On tab

  2. Copy the Client Id value

  3. Click the Open ID Provider Metadata button to display a JSON document, and copy the issuer URL value

  4. Send your Client Id and OpenID Issuer URL to the Walnut integration team, or to our customer support team ([email protected]) along with your Walnut customer name.

The Walnut integration team will notify you once configuration has been completed.
