The last two weeks brought demos that speak your buyer's language, designs that come straight in from Figma, and a library that lets you build a section once and reuse it everywhere. There are also new controls over who gets into a demo, how Playlists look and behave, and how fast you can tidy up your Content Library.

## Here's what we shipped 👇

- Demos in any language, translated inside the screens ⭐
- Figma designs imported straight into Walnut ⭐
- A section library for Playlists and Deal Rooms
- Email verification on the demo gate ⭐
- Deal Rooms without a CRM opportunity ⭐
- Gradient backgrounds for Playlists ⭐
- Auto-advance for Playlists
- Bulk tagging in the Content Library ⭐
- A renameable Mutual Action Plan
- Zoom into the moment on guide steps

⭐ = you asked for this on our public roadmap.

## Demos in Any Language: Translate the Screens, Not Just the Guides

⭐ You asked for this

A demo built in English only lands with buyers who read English. Translating one used to mean recapturing every screen in a new language, or maintaining a separate demo per market and keeping them all in sync.

Now you ask the agent to translate the demo and it translates the text inside the screens themselves: buttons, headings, table cells, menu items and placeholders.

**What you can do:**

- Ask in one line, for example "Translate this demo to German"
- Add a language your viewers can switch to, so one demo serves many markets with the same screens, edits and flows
- Or rewrite the demo's own text in the new language, when you do not need the original back
- Let guides come along with it, with narration audio regenerated where you have it
- Fix any word by clicking it on the canvas, and keep that wording permanently even if you re-run the translation later
- Teach it your vocabulary, such as keeping a product name in English, and it carries your choice across every screen
- Check how complete each language is before you share, and get a warning if a demo is still part-translated
- Hand a language to a human translator as a CSV and import their corrections back

**The result:**

One demo that speaks your buyer's language, with no second demo to maintain.

## Figma Designs, Straight into Walnut

⭐ You asked for this

Your newest product often exists in Figma long before anyone can demo it, which means waiting on engineering to build it first.

Paste a Figma link into Walnut and the frames come across as editable screens.

**What you can do:**

- Paste a Figma file or frame link and choose the frames you want
- Get real HTML screens rather than screenshots, so text, colors and layout stay editable
- Keep the prototype's wiring, so clicks between frames arrive as working links
- Edit the result in the demo editor like any other Walnut screen

**The result:**

You can demo a product before it is built.

## A Section Library for Playlists and Deal Rooms

Until now, reusing a section meant rebuilding it in every Playlist and every Deal Room, and getting something slightly different each time.

Now you save a section once and drop that exact section wherever you need it.

**What you can do:**

- Save any section you build, including hero banners, galleries, carousels, CTAs and embedded demos
- Insert it into any Playlist or Deal Room and get an identical copy every time, with no drift between deals
- Update a saved entry so every future insert picks up the new version
- Leave sections already placed in something you have sent exactly as they are, so improving the library never edits a Deal Room already with a buyer
- Browse the library in the Resource Hub with folders, search, and a filter for who saved each entry

**The result:**

One approved section, identical in every deal it appears in.

## Verify the Email on Your Demo Gate

⭐ You asked for this

The email gate collected an address but never checked it, so a viewer could type anything and walk straight into the demo.

Now you can require viewers to confirm their address by clicking a link Walnut emails them before the demo opens.

**What you can do:**

- Turn verification on for a demo in the share panel, or for a Playlist in its access settings
- Let viewers verify once at a Playlist gate and open every demo inside without being asked again
- Use it on your own custom domain, not only on Walnut URLs
- Set the company default and enforce it from Settings > Access Control

Existing gates do not change until you switch verification on, and enforcement applies to demos and Playlists created from that point forward, so nothing already out with a buyer gets locked.

**The result:**

The addresses in your lead capture are addresses that actually exist.

## Deal Rooms Without a CRM Opportunity

⭐ You asked for this

Creating a Deal Room used to require an existing CRM opportunity, which ruled it out for early discovery, ABM outreach, and post-close handoffs.

Now you can create one straight from the Library at any point in the relationship.

**What you can do:**

- Create a Deal Room from the Library with no opportunity attached
- Use one in early discovery, an ABM play, or a post-close handoff
- Attach a deal later if there is one to attach

**The result:**

A Deal Room whenever the relationship calls for one, not only when the CRM says so.

## Gradient Backgrounds for Playlists

⭐ You asked for this

Playlist backgrounds were a single flat color, which rarely matches a brand built on a gradient.

Now the Playlist background, the section backgrounds and the player background can each be a multi-color gradient.

**What you can do:**

- Use two to five color stops at any angle, with a live preview as you drag them
- Switch any individual control between Solid and Gradient
- Apply it in every Playlist layout
- Save a gradient once and reuse it across every Playlist and Deal Room in your account

**The result:**

Playlists that match your brand instead of approximating it.

## Auto-Advance for Playlists

A Playlist needed someone to click to move on, so a screen left running unattended stopped at the first item.

Turn on auto-advance in Playlist settings and the Playlist moves through its items by itself, with no need to link items to each other.

**What you can do:**

- Switch on "Auto-advance to next item" in Playlist settings
- Let videos advance when they finish, whether uploaded, YouTube or Vimeo
- Let guided demos advance once the viewer reaches the last step
- Rely on interaction taking priority: a click, a scroll or a keystroke stops the advance and the item stays put

**The result:**

A Playlist that runs itself on a booth screen, and stands still the moment a real viewer engages with it.

## Bulk Tagging in the Content Library

⭐ You asked for this

Tagging was one asset at a time, which made organizing a large library a long afternoon.

Now you can apply or remove a tag across a whole selection in a single action.

**What you can do:**

- Select any number of assets and apply a tag in one action
- Remove a tag from an entire selection just as quickly
- Mix asset types in the same selection

**The result:**

Library housekeeping in one pass instead of one item at a time.

---

## Rename the Mutual Action Plan

Every buyer already has their own name for the plan you build with them, but the tab always said "Mutual Action Plan".

Now you can rename it.

**What you can do:**

- Rename the Mutual Action Plan to whatever your buyer already calls it, such as "Your Next Steps" or "Go-Live Checklist"
- See the new name carried through everywhere the buyer sees it

**The result:**

The plan uses the words your buyer already uses.

---

## Zoom Into the Moment on Guide Steps

On a dense screen, a guide step could point at something the viewer still had to hunt for.

A guide step can now zoom into the part of the screen it is talking about.

**What you can do:**

- Add a zoom to a guide step so the view moves to what the step describes
- Keep the step's tooltip anchored correctly while the view moves

**The result:**

Buyers look at the thing you are describing on the first try.
