Add your marketing form to a playlist to capture leads and send them straight to your CRM. Show the form before the playlist opens, or let viewers open it any time from a floating button.

**Applies to:** Playlists. Lead forms aren't available in deal rooms.

**Supported forms:** HubSpot, Marketo, and Pardot

**Location:** Playlist editor → **lead form** icon in the top bar

## **Add a lead form**

1. Open the playlist in the editor.
2. Click the **lead form** icon in the top bar.
3. Click **Create a Lead Form** and paste your form's embed code from HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot. You can also pick a form you or a teammate saved to the library.
4. Under **When to show**, choose:
   - **Before playlist (entry gate)**: the form appears before viewers can see the playlist.
   - **Floating button**: a button stays on screen, and viewers click it to open the form whenever they're ready.
5. Set the form options (see below), then click **Save**.

If Walnut shows **Invalid embed code**, it couldn't find a supported marketing form in what you pasted. Copy the embed code from your marketing platform again.

## **Floating button options**

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Button text** | The call-to-action text on the button. Defaults to **Contact**. |
| **Position** | Where the button sits: **Bottom right** (default), **Bottom left**, **Top right**, or **Top left** |

After a viewer submits the form, the floating button disappears.

## **Form options**

- **Is the form mandatory?**: viewers must fill in the form before they continue.
- **Should the form autoclose?**: the form closes on its own after it's submitted.
- **Make form responsive**: resizes the form to fit the screen.

To take the form off the playlist, open the lead form panel and click **Remove lead form**.

**Can I add a lead form to a deal room?**

No. Lead forms are available in playlists only. To identify deal room viewers, use [**Collect viewers email**](/help/playlists/collect-viewer-email).

**Where do submissions go?**

To your marketing platform, through the form itself, the same as when the form is on your website. Viewers who fill in the form are also identified in playlist Insights.
