Besides Walnut demos, a playlist or deal room can hold call recordings, videos, and documents that viewers watch or read inline, without leaving the page.

## **Add a video or recording from a link**

1. In the editor, click **Add content items...** in the section where the content should go.
2. Choose **Media from external URL**.
3. Paste the link into **Insert your URL here...**.
4. Click **Add media**.

The item appears in the editor as **Gong call**, **Loom recording**, or **Wistia video**, and plays inline in a 16:9 frame. If Walnut doesn't recognize the link, you'll see **URL not supported**.

### **Which links work**

Links must start with `https://`.

- **Gong:** use the call's embed link, which contains `call-id=`. In Gong, open the call and choose **Share call → Embed call**, then copy that link. Gong's regular viewing links aren't supported.
- **Loom:** the recording's share link (`loom.com/share/...`) or embed link (`loom.com/embed/...`).
- **Wistia:** the media page link (`yourcompany.wistia.com/medias/...`) or the embed link (`fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/...`).

:::note Gong sign-in
If your Gong call is only available to signed-in Gong users, viewers see Gong's sign-in page inside the frame. Check the call's sharing settings in Gong before you send the playlist or deal room.

## **Add content with an embed code snippet**

Use this when a provider gives you embed code rather than a link.

1. Click **Add content items...** and choose **Embed code snippet**.
2. In **Embed external content**, paste the code snippet, or a Gong, Loom, or Wistia link.
3. Click **Confirm**.

**Embed code snippet** is available on accounts with Deal rooms or advanced playlist layouts.

## **Add Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files**

1. Click **Add content items...** and choose **File from Media Library**.
2. Upload a .docx, .pptx, or .xlsx file, or pick one you've already uploaded.

Files can be up to 100MB. Viewers read the document inline, through Microsoft's online Office viewer.

## **FAQs**

---

**Walnut says "URL not supported" for my Gong link. Why?**

You probably copied Gong's viewing link. In Gong, open the call, choose **Share call → Embed call**, and paste that link instead. It contains `call-id=`.

**Can I upload older Office formats such as .doc or .ppt?**

No. Uploads accept .docx, .pptx, and .xlsx only. Save older files in the newer format first.
