## **About this Feature**

Walnut users can generate personalized demos straight from Salesforce by clicking the **Get** **a** **Walnut** button on any standard Salesforce object—**Leads**, **Contacts**, **Opportunities**, or **Accounts**.

## **Before You Begin**

Before you begin, ensure that:

1.  The **[Salesforce Integration](/help/integrations/salesforce/setup/setup-1-connect)** is enabled in **Walnut** \> **Integrations**
2.  The **[Walnut App for Salesforce](/help/integrations/salesforce/setup/setup-2-install-app)** is installed
3.  The **[Get a Walnut](/help/integrations/salesforce/setup/setup-7-get-a-walnut-button)** quick action button is embedded in your Salesforce objects

##  **How to Create a Demo a from Salesforce**

Open a **Lead**, **Account**, **Contact**, or **Opportunity** record in Salesforce and click the **Get a Walnut** button. Haven’t embedded it yet? Learn how [here](/help/integrations/salesforce/setup/setup-7-get-a-walnut-button).

If you’re not logged in to Walnut, you’ll be prompted to sign in.

Once signed in, your Walnut Library will appear in Salesforce:

-   To generate a custom link for an _existing_ demo or playlist: Click **Copy link** next to an existing demo or playlist
-   To create and customize a _new_ demo: Click **Create a demo** next to a template, then select **Create New Demo** in the demo launcher

Walnut will automatically pull in details from the Salesforce record. If the template includes [CRM variables](https://help.walnut.io/hc/en-us/articles/28697364380435-In-Demo-Personalization#h_01HW53392PG579MNYEQK5CFWHN), they’ll populate here. Click **Continue to Demo Preferences**.

Finalize your demo preferences and click **Save Demo & Copy Link**.

**That's it!**

Your personalized demo is now live—and automatically linked to the Salesforce record you created it from. ⚡️
