## About This Feature

Ask the Walnut agent to **rebrand a template** and it will scan every color and image asset in the template, propose a re-skin to your new brand, and apply the change across every screen in one review. Perfect for spinning up a personalized demo for a specific prospect, refreshing your entire template library after a rebrand, or duplicating a template into a co-marketing skin.

**Feature Status:** AI feature — consumes AI credits

**Role Access:** Admin, Editor, Presenter

**Location:** **AI Mode** on any template or demo → ask the agent to rebrand

## How It Works

Ask the agent something like:

> *"Rebrand this demo to Acme — logo is at acme.com, primary is #FF5733."*

The agent runs two tools in sequence:

1. **Scan branding** — reads the template's screens and returns the current color palette (grouped so semantic uses like *primary*, *accent*, *background* are separated from incidental colors) plus every branded image asset it can detect (logos, hero images, favicons).
2. **Apply branding** — remaps the scanned palette to your new colors and swaps the branded images, writing the change as a single global edit across every screen in the template.

You review the plan in a **Branding review** card in the chat before it lands: the card shows the source palette next to the target palette, and the source images next to the proposed replacements. Approve to apply, edit inline to tweak a color or swap an image, or reject to start over.

---

## Provide Brand Inputs

You can hand the agent brand inputs in several ways — mix and match:

- **A brand color** (hex or name): *"Make everything Acme blue, #1E40AF."*
- **A logo URL or upload**: paste a URL or drop a logo image into the chat.
- **A brand website**: the agent will fetch the domain's logo and palette when it can.

The more specific your inputs, the closer the re-skin matches on the first pass.

---

## Review and Adjust

The Branding Review card shows every proposed swap and lets you:

- **Recolor** — pick a different target color for any semantic role in the palette (for example, keep neutrals, change only *primary* and *accent*).
- **Replace an image** — upload a different image or swap in a different URL for any of the detected assets.
- **Skip an asset** — leave a specific image alone if the re-skin should not touch it.

Click **Apply** to commit the change to the whole template. The change lands as one global edit, so you can undo the entire rebrand in one step if you don't like it.

---

## Tips

- Run this on a **duplicate** of your master template when creating a personalized skin — the rebrand lands on a copy, so your master stays untouched.
- Rebranding does **not** rewrite copy. Ask the agent separately (or use AI Mode text edits) to swap product names, taglines, and screenshots of the product itself.
- If the scan misses a semantic color, tell the agent — for example, *"treat #0A2540 as a primary too"* — and it will merge that swatch into the primary group before applying.

## FAQs

**Does this touch every screen?**
Yes. The rebrand is applied as a global edit, so every screen in the template picks up the new palette and swapped assets at once.

**Can I undo it?**
Yes. The rebrand is written as a single change, so a single undo (or reverting the global edit) rolls back the whole re-skin.

**How much does it cost?**
Rebranding consumes AI credits like any other AI-mode action. The exact cost depends on the size of the template and the number of image swaps.

**What if the agent picks the wrong "primary" color?**
Reassign it in the Branding Review card, or tell the agent in chat which color is the primary before running the scan.
