## **One Workspace. Multiple Brands.**

Create and manage multiple brand themes with **Themes in Company Settings**, so each demo can have the look and feel it needs.

Whether you're showcasing different products, supporting multiple brands, or letting partners deliver demos under their own branding, every audience gets a consistent, on-brand experience. You do it all from one workspace: no second account, and no restyling demos one by one.

A **theme** is a named set of brand values: colors, fonts, buttons, avatar, dim intensity and interactions. Your workspace has one **workspace default** theme and as many others as you need.

## **When to use themes**

Use a separate theme whenever a demo should look like it comes from someone other than your core brand:

- **Multiple products or product lines.** Each product keeps its own colors and fonts while sharing one library, one team and one set of analytics.
- **Multiple brands under one company.** Sub-brands, acquired companies and regional brands each get their own look without separate workspaces.
- **Partners and resellers.** Give a partner a co-branded or white-labeled theme so they can deliver your demos under their own branding.
- **Campaigns and events.** A launch or conference can have its own look for a few weeks, then you switch back.

If all your demos should look the same, you only need the workspace default. Change it once and every template and demo that follows it updates.

## **Set it up in 3 steps**

### **1. Create a theme**

1. Go to **Company Settings → Brand style**.
2. In the **Themes** list, click **New theme**. To start from an existing look, open a theme's menu and choose **Duplicate**.
3. Give the theme a name your team will recognize, for example _"Partner — Acme co-brand"_.
4. Set its colors, fonts, buttons, avatar, dim and interactions, then click **Save**.

To make a theme the look everything uses unless told otherwise, choose **Make workspace default** from its menu.

### **2. Point templates and demos at it**

- **Template:** in the editor's sidebar settings, open **Brand style** and pick the theme. Pick **Custom** if this template needs its own look.
- **New demo:** the **Branding** field in the Create demo wizard is pre-filled with the template's theme. Pick another theme to change the new demo's look before it is created.
- **Existing demo:** pick a theme in **Demo preferences** or in the **Share** modal. New share links show it at once. Links you shared earlier keep the look they were published with until you republish.

Playlists and Deal Rooms can apply a theme from their **Styling** panel too, so the hub around your demos matches them.

### **3. Personalize the content with presets**

A theme changes how a demo **looks**. A [demo preset](/help/demos/publish/demo-presets) changes what it **says**: customer name, industry, currency, logo and sample data. Use both and one master template covers every audience:

- **Theme:** the brand on the demo (yours, a sub-brand's, or a partner's).
- **Preset:** the story for the account you're meeting (_"FinServ — enterprise"_, _"Retail — mid-market"_).

For example, a partner's SE opens your demo with the partner's co-brand theme, picks the _"Healthcare"_ preset on the [Pre-flight screen](/help/demos/publish/demo-presets#the-pre-flight-presenter-screen), and presents a demo that looks like the partner's and speaks to a healthcare buyer. You built it once.

## **Good to know**

- **Nothing has to be set everywhere.** Brand values resolve field by field: a template's own overrides win, then the demo's theme, then the template's theme, then the workspace default.
- **Deleting a theme doesn't break anything.** Before you confirm, Walnut lists the templates and demos that use it and what each will fall back to. Published links keep what they were published with.
- **Not every setting is part of a theme.** Workspace-wide switches, such as smooth screen transitions and the X and Back buttons, stay set once for the whole workspace.

For every theme field and action, see [Company Settings → Brand style](/help/account/company-settings#brand-style).

## **FAQ**

**How many themes can I create?**
As many as you need. One of them is always the workspace default.

**Do I need a separate workspace for a partner or sub-brand?**
No. Create a theme for them and point their templates or demos at it. Content, users and analytics stay in one workspace.

**Can a preset switch the theme?**
No. Presets fill in variable values only. Pick the theme on the template or demo, and pick the preset when you present.

**I changed a demo's theme. Why does an old link still show the previous look?**
Links shared before the change keep the look the demo was published with. Share a new link, or republish the demo to update the old ones.
